The Function

To plan, control and implement the construction of industrial solar projects (> 1 MW) for the industrial and commercial market. Your responsibility includes the scope development, design, engineering, procurement and construction management. You manage the successful delivery of the projects, starting from the agreement of the project requirements to the handover of the completed project. You are fully accountable for the approved budget and delivery of project P&L and benefits. This includes the relevant specifications and agreed targets for cost and time, value for money, scale and requirements for safety and quality. You closely cooperate with the Business Development Manager and report to the Director Project Realization. You work on international projects and depending on the assigned project, that can involve traveling in (West-) Europe.

The Profile

You have a proven managerial experience in constructing and delivering larger and complex Solar Projects, preferably on an international level. We furthermore expect a higher/university in engineering or environmental science, completed by solid industrial project management qualifications. You have sound project management and controlling capabilities and experience. This includes a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with multiple stakeholders with a matrix structure. You are familiar to work under pressure and understand to get things done on budget in time. You are professionally committed to a structured delivery of processes and the introduction of operating policies into the business. Strong interpersonal, people and communication skills combined with energy, charisma and a “hands on” attitude are required to get the job done. You are living in West- Europe, and willing to travel up to 50% depending on the projects. A result-oriented and highly adaptable attitude completed with analytical skills and mindset regarding problem solving are assets you bring to the team.
